Formerly Business Director at J. Walter Thompson New York, Chris joined the Atlanta office as Director of Account Management in 2012. He currently heads the department servicing Shell, Pennzoil, Quaker State, The United States Marine Corps, U.S. Virgin Islands, Jiffy Lube, FEAM and SCANA. Chris conceived and implemented Account Management 2.0: a creatively driven, modern approach to account management. His guidance helped J. Walter Thompson Atlanta regularly achieve the highest client referral ratings within the global network.
While at J. Walter Thompson New York, Chris managed a variety of Johnson & Johnson brands and drove first-to-market ideas such as Band-Aid’s MagicVision mobile platform, which garnered worldwide praise, including top honors at Cannes, The Effies, Jay Chiat Planning Awards, Clio and The One Show.
Earlier in his career, Chris worked at Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey and Arnold on a variety of brands such as Bridgestone/Firestone, Zest Soap, Post-it, Scotch-Brite, Ethan Allen Home Furnishings, Era Laundry Detergent and Pfizer pharmaceutical brands.
Chris holds a BS in Advertising & Marketing from Texas Christian University and an MBA from Texas Tech University.
Committed to educating the next generation of marketers, Chris is frequently an adjunct professor at Texas Christian University teaching Marketing Communications and Social Media.
