Looking at our city from a new perspective
On September 22, World Car Free Day, J. Walter Thompson invited people to see and experience São Paulo in a different way: on a bike. Thompson’s cyclists, an excited group of men and women, including CCO Ricardo John and Head of Art Fábio Simões, got together at 9 p.m. at the Praça do Ciclista square, at the intersection of the Paulista avenue and the Consolação street, right in the heart of São Paulo. From there, they biked all the way to the agency, in the Paraíso district, where they launched a bike station set up in front of J. Walter Thompson’s office. The agency chose today to introduce #GOJWT, a new approach that aims to change the way the agency and its employees relate to São Paulo. To prove that this is for real, CEO Ezra Geld gave up his own parking spot to build the bike station. Looking at our city from a new perspective is just a bike ride away!
