Brian Steele received his MFA in advertising and ﬁne arts from SCAD-Atlanta with awards and recognition for work in each discipline. While still in school, he worked for Grey Worldwide and Turner Broadcasting/Cartoon Network, where he launched the weirdly wonderful show Adventure Time. He’s shot for Newsweek Magazine and was the producer of The Artist Journey, a documentary ﬁlm of Universal Art’s tour of Zimbabwe. Through Universal Arts and Fractured Atlas, he co-produced theatrical productions including The Beat in New York, San Francisco and Harare Zimbabwe’s International Arts Festival as well as Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome in New York. Brian currently works as an Associate Creative Director at J. Walter Thompson Atlanta, supporting brands including The Marines, Transamerica, Pennzoil, Jiffy Lube, Shell Oil, Coors Light and Nike. Most recently, Brian was featured in New American Paintings as one of Americas best emerging artist.
